About The Oregon Trail State Volkssport Association: Oregon's Premier Walking Association

OTSVA is the parent organization of the 25+ individual non-profit clubs of Oregon

The Oregon Trail State Volkssport Association (OTSVA) is a 501c3 non-profit organization. OTSVA is a dynamic, though meticulous organization dedicated to the coordination of the many local Oregon walking clubs. We hold bi-monthly meetings where we discuss such mundane things as Volkssporting By-Laws, and more exciting things such as upcoming walks and complex events.

This Website is one of our many efforts to raise the visibility of our sport, and to attract visitors such as you to come and join us for a walk. Please contact us with your questions or comments. You can reach us in person by visiting a club meeting, contacting a local club by phone or email, visiting a walk or by sending us an email here.

Thanks for visiting us! Hope to see you on the trail...

OTSVA Vision Statement

"To have quality events that appeal to people of all ages and all interests held frequently across Oregon."

OTSVA Mission Statement

OTSVA's mission is to increase walking, and build Volkssporting in Oregon. In order to do this, we will work to:
(1) Increase the number of people who do each event
(2) Create high quality in every event
(3) Increase volkssporting awareness in Oregon
(4) Unify clubs to work toward these common goals

All events are open to everyone regardless of race, creed, color, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or gender.  We encourage all to participate to the best of their ability.

Enjoy walking with the Oregon clubs of OTSVA. Sign up to receive event notices by email:
